Accessibility
Come as you are
Everyone should be able to join in. If you need something to make an event work for you, tell us. We'll do what we can, and we'll be upfront if a venue can't.

Tell us what would help
A few examples of what people ask for. If it isn't on the list, ask anyway.
- Step-free access, or a seat that's easy to get to.
- A quieter spot, or a heads-up on how loud and busy an event will be.
- A support person or carer coming with you. They're always welcome, just let us know so we can save them a spot.
- Someone to meet you at the door, so you don't walk in alone.
- Dietary needs for dinners, so we can check with the venue.
- Written details instead of calls, or the other way round.
Ask for support
Let's sort it out
The earlier you tell us, the more we can do. We'll reply to let you know what's possible.
We only use what you tell us to help with your request, and we don't share it beyond the people who need to know, like the host or the venue.
Got it, friend
We'll be in touch about what we can do.
This website
Built to work for everyone
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Pages are structured for screen readers, with proper headings and labels on every form field.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% and beyond without breaking the layout.
- The moving banner at the top has a pause button, and it stops on its own if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Colours meet contrast guidelines, in both light and dark mode.
- No pop-ups, no autoplay sound, and no time limits on forms.
Something not working for you, or need something from this site in another format? Tell us and we'll fix it or get it to you another way.
